Scott Slovic

在沒有進行線上授課、從事環境人文研究和計畫案，或接受長跑訓練時，Scott Slovic大部分的時間都在他位於美國俄勒岡州尤金市家中的花園裡清除雜草，並與妻子Susie種植藍莓、洋薊、蕃茄和其他各種可食用與可當傳粉媒介的植物。Scott在1990年代初為Association for the Study of Literature and Environment (ASLE) 的創始會長，然後於1995年至2020年擔任ISLE: Interdisciplinary Studies in Literature and Environment期刊的主編。目前，除了以愛達荷大學環境人文學系特聘教授身分遠距教學外，他同時也是Routledge Studies in World Literatures and the Environment和Routledge Environmental Humanities系列叢書的共同編輯，以及網站www.arithmeticofcompassion.org的特約編輯。

Scott目前與周序樺為Lagoonscapes: Venice Journal of Environmental Humanities期刊樹棲生態批評專號的客座共同編輯。Scott其他近期的研究工作包括共同編輯的書籍，如Nature and Literary Studies (劍橋大學出版社，2022年；Peter Remien合編) 和The Bloomsbury Handbook to Medical-Environmental Humanities (布魯姆斯伯里出版社，2022年；Swarnalatha Rangarajan與Vidya Sarveswaran合編)。
